NFC Nordic Fuzz Con
What's it all about? (Description)
It's a con in scandinavia (currently Malmö Sweden). Catering to a general audience it in the top 3 for attendance in europe and a well loved con. Well organised and well located NFC is a good choice for everyone.
Getting to the con (Transportation)
While located in Malmö Sweden you are likely going to find yourself travelling to Copenhagen Denmark first and taking the frequent train service from the city centre and airport to Malmö station.
Copenhagen airport is a international airport with both bus connections to Copenhagen central and trains to Malmö. Flights are frequent from most European cities and there is a decent selection of flights further a field. You may though find yourself connecting through another hub like Heathrow or Frankfurt. When connecting get to your connecting gate in the right terminal as soon as possible, the connection between terminal 2&3 to terminal 5 in London Heathrow is 30 mins.
There are also train options as well but this will depend a lot more on where you are coming from.
Train to Malmö
The train the Malmö tickets can be found sold at the red ticket machines with the Swedish flag (Blue background with a yellow cross). If you struggle you'll find most staff will be able to direct you with a fair level of English.
There are two trains and you can to take. The two services ran by different countries, the Swedish trains are cheaper then the Danish trains.
Hotels
It's first come first serve system. However don't fear as there is plenty of choices and all very walkable to the main hotel.

Main
Main hotel is great but with just 4 lifts for 26 floors it becomes busy quickly. The stairs are often very busy towards the end of the con as people find it much quicker then waiting 10-15 in queue for the lift.

Food and drink
The hotel does have a selection of food and drink but Malmö does have a lot of good selections.
Systembolaget
You can only buy alcohol to drink away from the venue at one state owned shop. It is closed on Sundays but OK priced.

Well priced good burgers open till very late.
Malmö Centralstation and Co-op
Station as a selection of food places and super market.
Meetups
There is a good selection of meetups at the convention from your usual species, musicians, pups, etc.
There is a boat used as an overflow for other events that is about an 8 min walk. From the main hotel, don't cross the water but cross the large road and head to the 7 eleven. It will be just around that corner. Google maps
Shows and panels
A good selection of live performances and panels that vary each year.
Raves
The raves are great with a large stage and bars in the dance area. With themed nights and even alternatives themes on the boat.
General tips
6 2 1 rules
s6 hourz of sleep, 2 good meals, 1 shower each day. Very good rules to stick to and is a minimum
Gay scenes
If you really want to explore the gay scene I recommand heading over to Copenhagen for it. While there are some gay bars Copenhagen will have everything you are looking for.s
Shopping
There is a big shopping mall just a few train stops away that will have a selection of nearly everything you'll want or need.
